What is your background?

Hola! My name is Stefany. I hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education from Peru and a Diploma in Early Childhood here in Australia. I’ve been teaching in Lima (Peru) for two years for preschoolers and more than three years in Brisbane. I moved to the coast a year ago to start a new adventure in uni doing a Bachelor in Education, this time in Primary!

Where else have you worked and how has it shaped your general outlook and your approach to teaching children today?

I have worked in Lima- Peru teaching primary and then made the move to Brisbane where I taught for three years. My approach to teaching is to make learning fun. I encourage students to be physically active and creative whether it be through singing, dancing, using puppets or just having a laugh.
